The new Boston Globe web site made #1 in Hacker News:

I know a lot of thought went into it.

Still - it disables the zoom feature on mobile devices.

You have the option to select font size - but even the biggest size may not be big enough for some people.

This is probably the best you could do with fixed font sizes.

Honoring the user font size preference has it's own issues ...
