Title: Sr. Project Manager (One for Finance and another one for Mortgage)

- 15 yrs of IT of experience including 10+ years of Project Management experience.
- Experience in handling large banking/ mortgage projects. (2-5 Million project size)
- PMP certification is mandatory

Salary: 80-100K + benefits (depends on experience)
Contract: $ 50-75 per hr (depends on experience)

Toronto is a high-cost-of-living area.  Those rates don't reflect that.  

Of course financial companies pay poorly, right up to the time they get slammed with bad data and paying really big money to fix things up.

$50/hour is certainly nothing to brag about but $75 is very good. This is the highest rate I have seen advertised here during the last month and half - after I started looking for new gig.
