Professional Skills:
A+, Net+, MCSE, and MCSA Certifications are required
2-3 years experience with strong working knowledge of Windows Server 2000, 2003, Vista, XP, Win98 & ME.
Troubleshoot hardware and software problems with Windows, Mac, and Linux workstations and servers
Desired skills:
• Networking skills: Configuring Linksys/Netgear Routers, Configuring Cisco Routers, Editing Hosts Files, Configuring managed switches, Updating DNS records and zone files, Troubleshooting network problems (TCP/IP), Using IPCONFIG to diagnose problems, and Using IPCONFIG to diagnose problems.
• Firewall skills: Configuring Sonicwall Firewalls, Configuring Netscreen Firewalls, Configuring Linksys/Netgear Firewalls, Configuring Cisco PIX Firewalls, and Configuring Windows Firewall.
• E-mail server skills: Microsoft Exchange 5.5, Microsoft Exchange 2000, Microsoft Exchange 2003 and 2007, Sendmail, Mac OSX E-mail Server.
• Server skills: Windows NT Server, Windows 2000 Server, Windows 2003 Server, Windows 2003 Small Business Server, Mac OSX Server, and Redhat Enterprise Server.
• Mobile phone skills: Treo setup, sync, and e-mail, Blackberry setup, sync and e-mail, Windows Mobile Devices, Blackberry Enterprise setup and troubleshooting, Goodlink Server setup and troubleshooting, Microsoft ActiveSync setup and troubleshooting, and iPhone setup and troubleshooting.
• Programming skills: Batch Files, Perl, and Unix Shell.
• Database skills: Microsoft Access, Microsoft SQL, MySQL, and Filemaker Pro.
• Backup software skills: Veritas Backup Exec, Windows NT Backup, Retrospect, Exmerge, Rsync, and Robocopy.
• Accounting software skills: Quickbooks, Peachtree, Clients&Profits, and MYOB.
• Macintosh skills: OSX - Setup and troubleshooting, Setting up printers, Connecting to Windows Printers, Connecting to Windows Shares, Samba Setup, Remote Desktop, and Installing Certificates.
• E-mail skills: Outlook - Setup pop/imap, Outlook - Setup Exchange, Outlook - Setup RPC over HTTP, Importing/Exporting PST files, Sharing Calendars and Contacts, Using Public Folders, Configuring Delegates, and Configuring Contacts and forwarding; Entourage - Setup pop/imap, Entourage - Setup Exchange

Looks like an ad to justify hiring an h1b or other immigrant employee for bargain basement rates. No, they can't find anyone like this in the US, no way, we have to get someone in from Bangladesh.

Sad thing is I too see ads like that, well not as bad but still a long list.

A while back I interviewed at a job where the ad was 2 or 3 positions rolled into one with all the requirements. I pointed this out and asked which one is the primary job to which I got a blank stare. What the heck are they thinking? Maybe plumbing isn't so bad after all.

Of course the h1b ultimately hired will have these buzz words on his resume, but will have actual experience with fewer than half of them. No one will care as the technical interview will either be with one of his countrymen, or by internal staff who have been propagandized about "diversity" to the extent that they will approve anyone. (Except US-born, or white, or old.)
