Got me thinking that western economies are becoming more and more centrally planned and managed.

There is no way program like that could be fair to all car owners - let alone all taxpayers.

Looking at some of the details - it actually benefits the people that bought the gas guzzling vehicles, and of course the auto companies that made them.

Now that I said that - I feel a bit better
