I want to install 7 Professional edition onto this Dell Inspiron E1705.
It only has 1GB of RAM, any suggestions how to upgrade to 2GB or so?

Get two new 1GB sticks of the same kind of memory such as:

Looks like it is compatible with a 64 bit o/s.

cool.

I  installed  Windows 7 professional on this Dell E1705, seems to be OK with 1GB, but will upgrade to 2GB soon.

Not really sure of what you can do with 7. User interface is mildly interesting.   But  my desktop will stay with XP for now.
