I've often thought it might be nice for the company culture to make us all stand up and stretch or do a short walk once or twice a day.

Well, here is where I'd quit if I worked for a little company that was trying this to boost morale, or for whatever other reason.  The only thing I like about a big company is the relative anonymity of it.   I do my job, get paid, and that's it .   There is zero social engineering of the morale-boosting sort.

I'm probably one of the biggest exercise fanatics there is, and I've posted here about spending 10 minutes out of every hour getting some type of exercise.  If I was told I had to participate in group calisthenics, I'd post that somewhere as a daily reminder that I need to get serious about a job search.
