I somehow missed pismobird's classic rant just above.  It really touched home.  His wife worked as a nurse for 20 years and never had an interview, much less the ass-reaming type that finally drove him out of the field.

I hope nursing is working out for him.  I really do...

You get the picture.  If borks just said, "I need someone who can develop in C++ - any platform is OK", you would get someone.
