I was supposed to have a phone interview today at 2 today with M*tlife. I was going to take the interview at my doctors office where I was helping him with some stuff.
The manager from M*tlife called at 2 and proceeded to tell me he does not have my resume, has not looked at it and that we need to reschedule. He says that HR must have "dropped the ball". I was like ummm, ok. Not a problem and it ended. Just like that it was over in 5 minutes.
I came out of my doctors office in about 5 minutes and I told him what happened. He was shocked, he says its not like the guy didnt suddenly know at 2pm that he didnt have your resume nor looked at it. Why not email you yesterday or today and ask for it.
This is the point corporate America has reached today. Total disrespect for the candidate. No regard for your time or you as a person. You are a piece of meat to be used and thrown away.
This the 4th time that M*tlife has done stuff to me. Who would want to work for a company like this?
