Would it make sense to create one?

I haven't been on JoS for years but BoS is a different story.

A lot of people find it valuable - myself included.

That's exactly what I intended Consulting, Contracting, and IT Business to be. 

Do you think I should create a child section?

My reasoning is - we don't have much posting right now - and we already have dedicated fora for these specific topics. Spreading out the posting that much more makes it feel more "empty".

And I'd prefer not to rip off the name of someone else's existing forum.

Maybe just rename it to:

"Contracting, Consulting and Software Business"  ??
